Christine Frye, MBA, CEM
Founder & CEO, CF Strategic Events
Christine helps organizations bring people together through thoughtful, high-impact events—from large-scale conferences and trade shows to community-driven experiences.
Christine believes the best events don’t just run smoothly. Events spark connection, energy, and momentum.
Fun fact: Christine live one Metro stop from the Walter E. Washington Convention Center—so she's always close to the action.
A Bit About Me
Christine is a connector at heart, bringing 15+ years of experience across the meetings and tourism industries to CF Strategic Events. Christine specializes in creating memorable experiences and leading teams that bring people together, from corporate events and large-scale association trade shows to convention and visitors bureaus and grassroots community organizing.
Before launching CF Strategic Events, Christine built her career managing and producing events across agencies, associations, and service providers. Her experience spans roles with organizations like NTP Events, Surescripts, and the Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau, where she led logistics, exhibitor and sponsor coordination, and on-site execution for trade shows and conferences ranging from intimate gatherings to 40,000+ attendees.
She founded CF Strategic Events to fuel my passion for social connection. When people gather, meaningful change happens, and I love being the one who brings it all together.
Today, she works as a solopreneur, offering fractional event support to association and corporate clients, as well as freelance partnerships with experiential agencies. Her focus is helping teams execute smarter, streamline operations, and deliver high-impact experiences without the overwhelm.
She blends street smarts with book smarts, backed by two university degrees, four professional certifications, and ongoing continuing education. She's managed multimillion-dollar event budgets, overseen vendor and stakeholder relationships, and supported everything from sales-driven trade shows to mission-focused nonprofit events. All of this is grounded in 15+ years of hands-on, client-facing event management experience.
Originally from Philadelphia, she's called Washington, D.C. home for the past decade. She's located just one Metro stop from the Walter E. Washington Convention Center and is readily available for on-site support for D.C.-based events, with the flexibility to travel globally.
